    We are located approximately 25 miles northeast of Durango, CO.  Vallecito Lake is accessible by either County Road 501 out of Bayfield, CO or County Road 240 out of Durango.

After arriving at Vallecito Lake, stay left at the Information Map below dam. Continue on CR501 on west side of lake past Virginia's Restaurant. Keep to the right at next intersection and follow signs to Five Branches Camper Park. CROLL CABINS is first right turn after passing through Five Branches Camper Park.

    An alternate route (shorter but unpaved) is to turn right immediately at the Information Map, cross the dam, and continue 4.5 miles past Pine Point campground and then down the hill to CROLL CABINS. See the detailed map on the Accommodations page for the layout of the cabin community.
